BACK TO SCHOOL LESSON PLANS I 4 - I 5

Estas son mis lesson plans para la primera sesión del curso en Infantil 4 años e Infantil 5 años con niñ@s a los que ya conocía del curso pasado. Las sesiones venían a durar unos 30-35 minutos. En I-3 e I-4 utilizo la marioneta del gato Cookie, porque la becaria que estuvo hace dos años utilizó el material Cookie's Treehouse (OUP) y no me ha hecho falta buscar otra. La marioneta es la que suele traer a la clase las novedades, los juegos, etc. A los pequeños les suele gustar mucho tener a un animal blandito y juguetón en clase. En I-5 utilizo más una mistery box de la que saco a veces cosas-sorpresa que tienen que ver con la sesión del día. Desde este año utilizo a veces una marioneta que tenía por casa, Cookie Monster (el Monstruo de las Galletas de Barrio Sésamo), pero a este grupo no parece gustarle mucho la figura de la marioneta; prefieren la mistery box. Solo se animan un poco si Cookie Monster canta la canción C is for Cookie...

APRENDER CON UNA LUPA LOS CONCEPTOS BIG - SMALL

Me encuentro inmersa en la planificación de la sesión en la que trabajaré estos conceptos. Casualmente (¿o no fue tanta casualidad?) ayer fui a dar con una lupa de juguete olvidada en un cajón. Y la idea surgió instantáneamente: ¿por qué no utilizarla para trabajar grande / pequeño? Puede resultar muy divertido convertir ópticamente algo de tamaño pequeño en algo mayor: partes de la cara (también puede servir para el tema FACE), objetos de la clase, ...

CUENTO PARA TRABAJAR LOS CONCEPTOS BIG / SMALL

En mi colegio no hay especialistas de Educación Infantil que tengan reconocido el nivel B2 de inglés, así que he de dedicar algunas sesiones a enseñar inglés en ese nivel (¡o al menos intentarlo!). Sé que esto está pasando en muchos colegios y también sé que esta situación genera no poca angustia entre algunos docentes. A mí misma, sin ir más lejos, en estos momentos me trae de cabeza. Mi especialidad trataba muy de pasada la enseñanza del inglés a edades tempranas, puesto que la titulación por aquel entonces estaba orientada a la enseñanza del idioma a niñ@s de 11 a 13 años. No utilizo libros ni fichas en mis clases en Educación Infantil, ya que solo puedo dedicar una sesión semanal en cada nivel y eso es muy poco tiempo como para pasarlo repartiendo material, coloreando, etc. Así que sudo tinta para ingeniar clases  con actividades variadas que mantengan la atención y el interés de los más pequeños, cosa que no siempre es fácil lograr y que no siempre depende de cómo hayas preparado las sesiones...
Mi objetivo primero al crear este blog es facilitar ideas y materiales que puedan servir de apoyo a otr@s maestr@s en mi situación. Hoy quiero compartir este sencillo cuento que he creado para trabajar los conceptos grande / pequeño. Estoy segura de que existen muchos libros que los trabajan, pero suele ocurrir que me surge la necesidad de disponer de algo así de repente y no lo encuentro. Así que ahorro tiempo y dinero creando material sencillo.
